Sheila Consaul
Professionally, Sheila Consaul is an experienced corporate communications/public relations/media relations and marketing professional. She has worked for controversial organizations, Fortune 50 clients, non-profit organizations and trade associations including as the primary spokesperson for United Way Worldwide during Hurricane Katrina in 2006. Sheila holds a Master’s Degree in Public Communication from The American University, Washington, DC and a B.A. in International Studies from Bradley University, Peoria, IL. Sheila is passionate about pet therapy and volunteers with her Golden Retriever, Lucy, for Fairfax Pets on Wheels (Fairfax County, VA), People Animals Love (Washington, DC), HOPE-Animal Assisted Crisis Response (HOPE-AACR) and the American Red Cross Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) program at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Sheila also loves historic preservation and owns a lighthouse in Ohio that she purchased from the federal government in 2011.
